By car

Saint-Lary Soulan is accessible all year round by road. From Paris: Take theA10 towards Bordeaux then theA65 to Lescar and the A64 to Lannemezan and the RD 929 to Saint-Lary Soulan. or theA20: from Vierzon towards Toulouse then theA64 towards Saint-Gaudens to Lannemezan (exit 16) then the RD 929 to Saint-Lary Soulan. From Toulouse: Take theA64, exit 16 Lannemezan, then follow the RD 929 to Saint-Lary Soulan (approx. 1 hr 30 mins). From Bordeaux: Take theA65, then theA64 towards Tarbes and exit at Lannemezan. Continue along the RD 929 to Saint-Lary Soulan (approx. 3 h 30). From Spain: The Aragnouet-Bielsa tunnel links the Aure valley directly to Spain’s Aragon region. Motorway A64: Bilbao-Bayonne-Pau-Tarbes-Lannemezan and RD 929 to Saint-Lary .Winter traffic conditions in the Hautes-Pyrénées GPS coordinates: Lat x Lon: 42.8176605, 0.3237979 Be careful when programming your destination on a GPS, there are several “Saint-Lary” in the region, select “SAINT LARY SOULAN (65)”.

By bus

Several bus routes serve Saint-Lary-Soulan throughout the year: liO route 963: connection from Lannemezan SNCF station to Saint-Lary-Soulan, Ardoune car park. liO Occitanie regional coaches: extra seasonal services in winter. The winter shuttle services between Arreau and Loudenvielle and between Saint-Lary and Piau-Engaly run as a regular service during the Christmas holidays and the winter holidays in zones A+C, and are subject to prior reservation with the Tourist Office. reservation with the Pyrénées 2 Vallées Tourist Office outside these periods, until the ski resorts close.
