Living the resort

Without skiing

You’re heading to the mountains but skiing isn’t your cup of tea? No worries…

At Saint Lary, between visits and walks around our villages and rivers, you’ll be spoilt for choice. Let yourself be tempted by a snowshoeing escapade or a family igloo build!

Enjoy, we'll take care of everything

The right questions to ask
  • What equipment do you need for winter hiking?

As a general rule, you need to pack warm clothes but always a backpack with water and snacks and enough room to slip in the fleece that’s keeping you too warm :).

Hat, gloves, mountain-type hiking boots if possible waterproof, a fleece, a technical undergarment and a waterproof jacket.

  • Can I hike with my dog?

Yes, of course, except in unauthorized areas (such as the Néouvielle reserve), which will be indicated to you, and don’t forget your leash!

  • What are the cable car timetables on January 1?

The same timetable as throughout the season…

    Gondola timetable

  • Is there a shuttle bus service to the foot of the runway?

No, because you have the cable car or the gondola that takes you there.

There are free shuttles that take you to the departure of the cable car and the gondola in the village.

    Village shuttles
