Tour de France 2023

the Aspin pass

Saint-Lary has a long history with the Tour de France. It is rare that one of our passes does not appear in the route of each new edition. In 2018 and again in 2021, Saint-Lary was a stage town. In 2022, the Tour crossed the Col d’Aspin and the Hourquette d’Ancizan. Peyragude was the finishing stage, after crossing Saint-Lary and climbing the Col d’Azet.

In 2023, the Tour de France will climb the Cols of Aspin and Tourmalet…
