1. Chemin de l’ardoisière

-From Vielle-Aure or Saint-Lary, follow itinerary #5 on our Balades et Randonnées map, which will allow you, while making a loop, to reach a pretty viewpoint on the valley. For the early risers, you can admire the sunrise there.

2. Col du Portet

For ski touring enthusiasts or simply if you ski on the resort, don’t miss the viewpoint at the top of the Col du Portet, Espiaube sector and in particular the blue trail “Les balcons de Mouscades”

3. Les Granges de Grascouéou

The Grascoueou barns, which you can see from Saint-Lary village just by looking up to the northwest, are easy to access on foot even in winter (with snowshoes) from Soulan village. It takes about 3 hours round trip for half a day but the morning light is very beautiful! Pay attention to weather and snow conditions!

Les crêtes d’Azet : A 360 view on the Aure Valley and La Vallée du Louron ! Unmissable ! Starting from the Col d’Azet.

5. In the resort, la Soumaye

-A La station de Saint Lary, Espiaube sector, ski to your feet reach the start of the blue run of Peyramède. The Azet and Peyresourde passes stand out in front of you as well as the magnificent eastern summits of this part of the Pyrenees.
