HIKES AND CLIMBS AROUND THE LAKES AND IN THE UPPER VALLEY
The National Pyrenean Park, with its numerous peaks, the Néouvielle Nature Reserve, with its dwarf pines, nurse-frogs and lake zone are the only areas to offer you a plethora of "100% mountain" activities, from spring to the end of autumn.
You can also enjoy easy access to some famous sites (Rioumajou Hospice, Moudang barns, etc.) or you can take the Route d'Espagne for a trip around the Aragon valleys and La Sierra de Guara...

This machine "Point Service Randonnée " allows with the help of payment by bank card, to carry out a pedestrian search multicriterion for excursions in the area and to print the chart.

PARAGLIDING
With vertical drops of 500 to 1200 m, this is a favourite spot
for novices and seasoned paragilders. It's possible to make
8 flights in a day at Saint-Lary, by taking the cable-car to
the take-off point at Saint-Lary 1700 (Pla d'Adet).
HORSE-RIDING
Beginners' lessons, indoor riding school and treks through the
forest paths.

Opening times :
River Neste, streams and reservoirs: from 11th March to 17st
September 2006 inclusive. Mountain lakes above 1000 m: from
25st May to 1th October 2006 inclusive.
Authorised catches :
10 catches per day per fisherman in all waterways and reservoirs
and 10 catches per trip per fisherman in all lakes and reservoirs
above 1000m.
Legal size: the length of the fish is measured from the tip
of the snout to the end of the splayed tail.

23 cm (Neste downstream from Saint-Lary bridge on the R.D.929).

WHITE
WATER SPORTS
Rafting, Hot-dog, Kayak-raft, Air-boat, Hydro-speed,
For rafting, hot-dogging and kayak-rafting, the descent is made
between the bridge at Bazus and the village of Arreau. The 8
Km-course lasts around 1h 15 mins depending on the rate of flow.
Divided into two halves, the calm section is ideal for beginners
and the other for more seasoned sportsmen (Cadéac Gorges). |

A water-borne journey through the magnificent setting of Mont
Perdu and La Sierra de Guara "Family" and "Advanced" levels.

CYCLE
TOURING
Close to the Aspin and Azet cols and a few cable lengths away
from Le Tourmalet, Saint-Lary, together with the ascent to Pla
d'Adet, is an ideal departure point for following the legendary
mountain stages of the Tour de France.

MOUNTAIN
BIKING
A whole host of extremely varied routes either side of the Pyrenees
include Sobrarbe, La sierra de Guara, the Spanish side of the

the French side of the Aure Valley, for those biking alone or
on organised tours with a qualified guide.
