Polo De Le Rue : bronze medal in snowboardcross to the Olympic Games of Turin 2006

Xavier De Le Rue : Triple World Champion and winner of the 2003 and 2004 World Cup in Snowboardcross!
At a time when the discipline is just entering the Olympic arena, Xavier DeLeRue is at the zenith of his sport and among the French favourites for the Turin Olympic Games in 2006! A member of the Saint-Lary snowboard club, the Brown Bears, Xavier stands out for his simplicity, his receptiveness and his commitment to his Pyrenean identity!

Brown Bears : When it comes to snowboarding, the Saint-Lary club is a genuine breeding ground for champions . aside from the DeLeRue clan, the Brown Bear "riders" can regularly be seen gracing national and international podiums: Marie Andrieux, Champion of France in the halfpipe 2001 in snowboarding. and 2003 in skiing, Antoine Blaizeau, Victor DeLeRue and Justin Guiraud, all Champions of France 2003 in their respective disciplines… not forgetting the rest of the DeLeRue clan with Sabine (Champion of France 2001 and Vice World Champion 15-17 yr olds 1998), Paul Henri (Junios World Champion 2004) and François (winner of the Grand Raid Freeride at Chamonix in 2002).

Bruno Compagnet : Whether we're talking about skiing, telemarking or snowboarding, freeride is above all a state of mind that allows enthusiasts freedom of expression in the heart of nature. Free skier par excellence, Bruno is one of those symbolic figures of French freeride. He regularly shines out at extreme skiing events and shares with Xavier his love of Saint-Lary and his "100% PYRENEAN" identity!

Isabelle Mir : You can't get by without mentioning the resort's historic champion! Aside from being Champion of France 15 times in all categories between 1965 and 1973, Isabelle is 3 times gold medal winner in the World Cup for descent and silver medal winner in the Grenoble Olympic Games in 1968. She has even had a slope named after her. La Mirabelle, a descent training run for the Olympic team in the 68 Games, was recently entirely remodelled and redeveloped to offer snow sports enthusiasts an elevation gain of 700m and 3.6 Km of pure enjoyment!
